At Argent Advisors, our services align best with four types of clients: highly-compensated professionals, people headed toward retirement within the next 15+ years, those who have retired, and business owners.
These folks have spent years growing something meaningful — a family, a career, a business, or a portfolio. Now, they want to make wise decisions about how to protect, enjoy, and share what they’ve built.
High Income Professionals
Highly-compensated executives and professionals—like attorneys, doctors, dentists, consultants, salespeople, high-tech developers, and others—need specialized help to optimize their financial situations. We’re here for you.
- Concerned about taxation?
- Need investment advice?
- Need a plan for your eventual retirement?
Those Nearing Retirement
People in their 50s and 60s with 15+ years or so until they retire have lots of questions, like “How much money do I need to retire?” and “Are we on the right track?” We can help you answer those questions and build a plan for your dream retirement.
- Want to know how much you need to have saved in order to retire?
- Want to know when you can retire?
- Worried about stock market volatility?
Those Already Retired
If you’re retiring now, or living in retirement, you have special needs and concerns, like “Will I outlive my money?” We can help you create lifetime income not subject to stock market downturns. We can also help you create a tax-advantaged legacy.
- Concerned about running out of money during retirement?
- Paying more in taxes than you thought?
- Want to leave a tax-advantaged legacy to your kids and grandkids?
Business Owners
If you own a business, you have more options when it comes to saving tax-advantaged money for your retirement, even if you are self-employed. At the same time, you need to make sure you have an exit plan in place for yourself, and expertise in place should you want to sell.
- Need an exit plan to sell or retire someday?
- Never want to retire, but want to protect your firm with a succession plan?
- Want to protect your family from your unexpected loss?
If your financial life has grown more complex — and you’re looking for guidance in bringing it all together — we’d be honored to help and if you’re just beginning to build your wealth, we’d be glad to point you toward some reliable resources that can help you start strong.
Our Proven 5-Step Process
To create your custom financial plan, we walk with you through each step of our 5-step process.
Discovery
Before either you or we sign the dotted line and commit to a working relationship, we’ll visit—usually more than once—to get to know each other. We’ll share our financial philosophy and processes, and you’ll tell us about your current situation and goals.
Analysis 1: Philosophy
It’s fine and well to share with you examples of our work, but we know the best way for you to judge entering into a working relationship with us is to experience what that relationship would truly look like. To begin, we’ll collect a basic amount of financial data from you so that we can show you what our process and recommendations might look like for your actual situation.
Analysis 2: Deep Data
Following the collection and processing of your financial data, we’ll sit back down with you to finalize and complete our initial plan and recommendations. At every stage of the planning process, we’ll answer your questions and address any concerns you may have. A plan isn’t worth a dime to you if it’s not something you are able and willing act on.
Decision
Once you’ve had the opportunity to digest our recommendations and plan, you’ll have the opportunity to decline our services or agree to a working relationship. At this point, we’ll work with you to create your thorough financial plan.
Implementation
Exact plans and how they are implemented can vary greatly from client to client. Without fail, though, every plan is a living organism because life happens. Financial emergencies occur. Windfalls come. Tax laws change. Stock markets rise and fall. For these reasons and more, we don’t just give you a plan and send you along. Instead, we commit to working with you for the long-term, reviewing your plan and your progress on a regular basis, to ensure it remains optimized to meet your retirement goals.
